Arc House
A permanent installation that lets visitors walk a building that was never built.

Overview
Arc House is a 1974 competition entry that lost by one vote and was filed away in a municipal archive for half a century.
The studio reconstructed the drawings; we designed the room that lets you move through them — a slow, near-silent projection you steer by walking.
Challenge
The archive held elevations and a model, but no interior detail. The experience had to be honest about what is documented and what is inferred.
Approach
Two visual registers: measured drawing for what exists, and a lighter geometric wash for everything reconstructed. The line weight tells you which you are looking at.
Outcome
A permanent room in the city architecture centre, and a printed companion volume of the recovered drawings.
